NUIA Menu

What is this?
  • Close Tab: Closes the current tab.
  • Play / Pause: Plays or pauses the current video.
  • Close Application: Closes the current application.
  • Go Back 15 Seconds: Scrubs the video 15 seconds backwards.
  • Go Forward 15 Seconds: Scrubs the video 15 seconds forward.
  • Activate Full Screen: Opens the video in full screen view.
  • Exit Full Screen: Exits the full screen view.
  • Cancel: Cancels the NUIA Menu without any action.
  • Search Videos: Opens the NUIA Dictation Menu where you simply say your search term and trigger a new Youtube search with a short "Ok".

Voice Commands

What is this?
  • Activate Full Screen: Displays the current video in full screen.
  • Exit Full Screen: Exits the full screen.
  • Play Video: Starts playback of the current video.
  • Pause Video: Pauses playback of the current video.
  • Go Back: Scrubs the video 15 seconds backwards.
  • Go Forward: Scrubs the video 15 seconds forwards.
  • Search For Videos, Search For Video: Opens the NUIA Dictation Menu where you simply say your search term and trigger a new Youtube search with a short "Ok".

Lean Back Mode

What is this?
  • Lean Back Mode: Opens the video in full screen view.
  • Engaged Mode: Leaning forward to engaged mode activates the original state of the application again.

Known Limitations

What is this?
  • Supported Browser: Currently works in Firefox and Chrome Browser.
  • Supported YouTube Pages: Currently only the video detail page is supported.
  • Interaction: Occasionally the control does not work anymore if mouse clicks were emitted outside of the video area.
